FUCK THE POLICE
Jan. 13th, 2002 07:53 pmAlthough I really could care less about the po-lice at this point. "Fuck the NIC port on the back of my computer" doesn't exactly have the same ring to it though. And I can't for the life of me figure out what it was that I did last night when my connection worked. All I did was put in the cord. And for some odd reason it worked. And when I woke up this morning, it didn't anymore. Fuck.
I need to turn off the Thin Buckle and put on some Ben Folds or Weezer. It's really sad that those are the hardest CDs I have...oh wait...I do have the SLC Punk soundtrack that I couldn't pass up....{rummages around by her bed}
My feet hurt from several hours at Wal-Mart and I have a headache from plugging and unplugging my cord seventy million times today already. I think the only bright spot of the day was getting Flood from Hastings. Yes, I actually broke down and finally bought it. I felt bad about not owning it. Now I need to get a BF5 CD so I won't feel like a poser for considering them one of my favorite bands. Although I do love the CD section of the Amarillo Downtown Public Library, where I got Flood, Then, Factory Showroom (all TMBG CDs), and Whatever and Ever Amen (BF5).
I think my appetite for hard music has suddenly waned. There's just something so soothing about Kevin's voice. I would be in a really good mood probably if it weren't for my freakin' computer. I don't normally think about how much time i actually spend on the internet and being suddenly cut off from it is turning out to be a rather instructive experience for me. I guess it should be obvious that I really am addicted because I've spent roughly a day plugging and unplugging the freaking cord just to get sporadic bursts.
{floats off on Kevin's voice} "Anna, did you lie? Anna, Anastasia..."
