Ahhh.....slow days....
May. 15th, 2002 03:21 pmToday was relatively quiet... I balanced my checkbook (for the first time since August!), helped my mom decide our itinerary for our WDW trip (<sigh> on the 8th, we're just going to be playing minigolf and swimming and having milkshakes...<pout>), sat around and tried to ignore the fact that nothing was on TV...
Tomorrow I'm going to run around with Amy. Yay! :)
More meandering around Amarillo and most likely eventually ending up at Best Buy or Hastings as usual...<g> I popped into Best Buy last week sometime...I think that they've worked on making their CD selection more kickass. I noticed *2* 97's CDs I hadn't seen there last time (and I don't have), and they also have I think the entire TMBG catalog of CDs, plus a bunch of new spiffy other CDs (including several GBS albums which I have now, but it's cool that they got them in).
Oh! Sleepyhead shipped from HMV today! <dances> Hopefully it'll get here soon....I want some new BC to distract me from the fact that they're not coming anywhere within about 20 hours of Amarillo (okay, I'm really not feeling this pouty as this comes off as sounding, but it's true). Now all I'm missing out of my order is BC1 (on special order from Page, I think)....next time I get BC or whatever, I'll definitely order it direct.
My parents' sleep pattern is driving me nuts...11 is insanely late to them. <shakes head> And unfortunately, it's starting to rub off somewhat....I was actually tired at midnight; quite a shift from school, where I'm just winding down at 2. (That's the reason I've been disappearing from chat so early lately <sigh>) IM me if you see me! :)
Regarding my last entry, thanks for reading....I just had to get out all of that. Now that I think about it, it probably won't go onto the board anytime....particularly not right now, the board's already progressed into post-shock warm fuzziness, so it'd be a bit caustic for now and rather late. If I ever do post any of it, I'll condense and soften it likely to an unrecognizable state (if I don't do that, I'll probably scare everyone....it seems that I turn into a longwinded ice queen when I get annoyed <g>). Like I said, thanks for reading, and please let me know if you've got anything to say regarding it.
