Today was a big mail day. On Friday morning, I got a phone call from UPS telling me that they had a package for me that was addressed to my PO box in the Commons (where they don't deliver), so I called them back Friday afternoon and gave them my room number and they told me that I'd be getting a package today.
On my way to CS lab this afternoon, I decided to stop by my mailbox on the off chance that they might have delivered something there in any case. And lo and behold, there was a package pickup slip! So now I have Hennessey - Life on AM Radio, Rheostatics - Double Live, and Rheostatics - Music Inspired by the Group of 7. :D
Insanely grinning Sarah on her way over to lab.
On my way out of CS lab, I stopped to throw out the wrapping from two of the CDs and my HS class ring slid right off into the trash can. Ick. Fortunately, after about 5 minutes, I retrieved it with only a little bit of ickyness.
As I was getting back to the dorm room, I saw a UPS truck turning into the street (this was about 5 PM) and I got kinda hopeful. Sure enough, about an hour later, I got a knock on the door and there was Mr. UPS Guy and my box. So now I have a Polaroid camera (but no film, so I'm not sure if it works) and 3 new albums.
A good day. :)
Edit....oh, and I was bored in meteorology today, so I drew a couple of new doodles. And because I'm a geek, I put them onto the doodle page I did yesterday and I added dorky commentary. So if you go look at that, they'll be there. <g>
