To what is my life amounting? It figures, not much...
Mmmm.... Producers-y.

I'm in the SCC right now, taking a little study break. I kept jolting myself awake this morning, for some reason convinced that I was going to oversleep, so starting at 6 and about every half an hour after that (until I finally gave up and got up at 8:45, 15 minutes before my alarm clock), I'd gasp, sit up, and look at my alarm clock and then try to calm myself down so I could sleep again.

Ugh....this studying is going okay, but the thing is that I've forgotten a lot of this stuff, and I can do it all right right now while I've got the book with me and all the old tests, but I don't know how I'll do in the classroom. I mean, this is pretty basic, and I can generally muddle my way through the problems, but there are some funky cases he can throw at us that I'll be clueless on. Also, he mentioned that the tests may randomly not have things on them, and focus on other things (of course, he didn't tell us what things), so it's going to be kind of potluck when I go in there. I could get a ton of stuff I know pat, but I could also get everything that I didn't ever learn as well. Grr.

Time to go back to studying, I suppose.

"For those out of the modern musical loop, the Barenaked Ladies is a popular four-member, all-male band that tops the lineup for the 2003 Bayfest concert weekend July 17-19 in Sarnia."
--From here

Really? I didn't know that being in the "modern musical loop" meant being stuck in 1996. <g>

Accounting went okay. It was a totally different format than the rest of the tests.... all the old tests were mainly based on the problems out of the book (testing how well you remembered how to do the problems), while the final was mainly multiple choice word-type problems (testing how well you knew the underlying material). I think I did well on it, but since we haven't really had any tests like this, it's hard to gauge.
The instructions for the test were particularly bizarre. They handed out two versions of the test, with the instructions "if you have a white test, answer only the even questions, and if you have a pink test, answer only the odd questions." The thing was that both tests had both even and odd numbers. So you'd only end up answering parts of multi-part problems, and on some of the one-off questions, you'd completely not answer anything on that subject at all. Which was additionally disorienting.

So, I think I did well enough for a B in the class. I hope I did well enough for an A, but that depends on if I answered enough questions right. <g>

I don't feel like editing the last entry even though it was like two minutes ago. So, here we go....

It was fucking gorgeous outside today. I'm not kidding. 65 degrees, sunny, a little windy. Fucking gorgeous, I'm telling you. After accounting, I had Road Rage on my headphones and I went outside and it was that nice, and damn I was happy. <g> I rode the bus back around to Fish Pond from west campus (because that is a bit of a hike) and then got off and walked the rest of the way back to my dorm cause it was so damn nice out.
I got back to my room, all set to take a shower, do a little dancing, blast some happy music, and my roommate is lying there asleep. This is at about 2:45, mind you. So I took a shower. Get out at about 3:15 (I take long showers), she's still asleep. I was planning on running around and taking pictures (did I mention that it was fucking gorgeous?), but sitting in a dark room is not exactly conducive to making you want to do anything. And I also hate drying my hair while she's asleep, just because I feel bad about it. So no pictures today. Perhaps tomorrow. According to the NWS, tomorrow is supposed to be pretty much the same. Mmmmm. Only problem is that I'm not sure if the Administration and Academic buildings will be open tomorrow and I want to take pictures in them too.

Chinese food tonight for dinner here in about 15 minutes. Good thing, cause I'm quite hungry now.
Okay, that was about all I wanted to say.

I keep adding things to this damn entry. <g> I also wanted to add that I'm probably looking like a complete tool right now because I'm doing little chair dances to this Guster boot. It is a damn nice set, [livejournal.com profile] orangey. Grr. I want Guster back in Texas. Stop coming when I'm moving into my dorm. ;)
