Dear TBS,
Becker is not an appropriate substitute for Ed. Seriously.
I mean, the episode I just watched a couple of days ago had an Old 97's song in it! And a Ron Sexsmith song! (And REM too, but it was just "Everybody Hurts" so that's not as exciting.)
And I'd only remembered it was on a week ago. This is so not fair.
I'll give you ten bucks if you put it back on and digitally insert a sombrero on everybody's head. (I really just want it back, but the sombreros would be amusing too.)
Cavanagh-ly deprived,
Sarah

In other news, I made spaghetti with semi-alfredo sauce and garlic bread for dinner tonight. Mmm. So, kinda full.
(I say semi-alfredo since I decided at the last minute that I was going to try something to put on the spaghetti since I had some fresh parmesan -- normally I just do garlic and olive oil with maybe some cheese -- so I just dumped some butter and milk and parmesan in a little bowl in the microwave for a minute and a half and stirred it at 30-second intervals. It ended up tasting surprisingly decent, even if it was kinda watery.)
I still need to finish the scarf I've been working on on and off for the last couple of months. I have like 3 rows left on it, which I really should do sometime just so I can get it off the needles (and have it to play with). It's a nice easy pattern, but since it's easy, it's also not massively exciting. (The only reason it's taken me so long on this scarf is just cause I've been doing like 3 rows a week, toting it back and forth from work. When Monica was here though, I got a ton done on it since it's easy enough that I can do it and watch TV and also possibly talk to people as well.)
The shrug I'm working on, on the other hand, is kind of complicated. Or, well, the back is, at least, and that's what I'm working on. I've got the arms attached and I'm doing decreases for the raglan shaping. I'm a little concerned because although I'm decreasing 6 stitches every RS row, it still seems like I've got a ton of stitches on my needles, and I'm supposed to get down to 38! So, we'll see how that goes...
But, it's going to look really nice when it gets done. I hope.
I think I'm going to see Batman Begins this weekend. Mmm...popcorn.

I mourned the death of that show and signed the "Save Ed" petition. Boo NBC for taking it off air. They deserve to be losing their butts to FOX right now. Boo them. >:(
