So, happy belated Fourth to everyone. My weekend wasn't massively exciting, but there were pockets of action.
Saturday, I was planning on doing things, but I had forgotten that Live 8 was going on, and so I ended up spending much of the day happily flipping between streams of the various cities. And this is the only time you'll ever hear me say this, but thank god for AOL. They totally saved the day. (I watched the first hour or two on VH1/MTV and it was painful.) So, yeah, that was cool.
Sunday, I went to see Batman Begins, which I really liked a lot, had popcorn, which I really liked a lot, and got to see the Serenity trailer on the big screen, which made me squee and want to see the movie again now. (I'm still not entirely sure how much I like the current trailer, really, but I was still geeking out about seeing it on the big screen, and supposedly there will be a new one out soon.)
I then went shopping for pretty much the rest of the day, hitting the mall (mostly Waldenbooks), Barnes and Noble, and Hastings, although I didn't buy anything until I got some groceries. I did find a couple of books that looked interesting though (and there's a new Chrestomanci book out? Why did no one tell me?). I probably should reread the last Harry Potter though, and I still haven't finished Misfortune (tsk!).
Monday was not very exciting. I did laundry. Party! And then yesterday (which we had off of school for no apparent reason), I did homework and some reading and knitting, and not a whole lot else.
And now I must do work.
