And now, your moment of zuh:
I was watching Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends today (hush. it's cute and silly.), and thought I recognized Kevin McDonald's voice on it. So at the end of the episode, I paused on the credits and lo and behold I was correct.
But I also noticed another name I recognized -- Grey DeLisle -- which was not really one I expected to see up there. I only know the name because she's married to Murry Hammond, bass player for the 97's, and she's put out several albums, and he's played on a couple of them. She actually played a show in Dallas this past weekend which was mentioned on the 97's site that I was looking at about an hour before I sat down in front of the TV.
My immediate thought was that there had to be two different people with that name (unlikely as it was), but according to IMDB and her website, she's apparently done a whole bunch of voice work in addition to her music. No wonder she and Murry live in California.
Random connections between seemingly unrelated things are awesome.
