TAR 10, Ep 1
Just finished watching TAR since I was out earlier.
Two eliminations really sucks, particularly this early. And both of the teams seemed really interesting too. Bah. Can't we trade them out for some of these other teams?
Speaking of:
-The Korean brothers are cute and apparently well-educated, but...uh, not the sharpest. Seriously, shooting water guns? At people you've just met? In an airport??
-The male models... yawn.
-The cheerleaders... uh. Living up to the stereotype a bit. Did one of them honestly say they're the sort of people that could have a conversation with a doorknob? So far, not doing much to disprove that.
-The beauty queens. Seriously, how much must Dustin's parents hate her? She got dang lucky she's pretty. They both seem nice enough, although I can't tell them apart.
-The coal miner and his wife. Ech. Not interested.
-The angry couple. Yeah, like TAR needed another one of those. I had Freddy and Kendra flashbacks when they were in the cab with their glasses on. I hope that's the last time I compare them.
-The dad coming to terms with his lesbian daughter. So far so okay, although I was prepared to hate him after that intro.
-Single moms. Not a big fan of them at this point.
-PseudoGuidos. <shrug> I liked the Original Guidos myself. ;)
-Triatheletes. I really want to like them, but they've already played the fake "emergency!" card, which does not bode well. I was annoyed at the moms for saying they shouldn't get to board the plane early, but seriously, guys, don't make up shit.
Yeah, I don't know who I'm rooting for. The adorable Indian couple were probably my initial favorites, but of course they're gone already.

Wasn't it one of the doorknobs...er...cheerleaders who asked if Muslims believed in Buddha?

The wife and I really like Vipal and Arti, but, alas, it was never meant to be. Stupid motorcycle driver hosed them.
We also can't pick a favorite.
