Wow, Friday Night Lights is blowing me away. I wish more people were watching it. I didn't mind this week's BSG episode as much as a lot of people seemed to, but FNL's hitting the same subjects with such fabulous nuance. The show seriously just keeps getting better. And I still totally want that Crucifictorious t-shirt.

Those of you who are more up on this than me, it'd be safe to assume there'll be some FNL stuff in the auction at the benefit for Joe, right? I'm thinking about posting on some FNL boards/communities, but I'd feel a bit less silly wandering in and posting if I could tie the show into the benefit. (And/or, if anyone knows what he did on the show, that would work too.)

It's from here (http://community.livejournal.com/8ball_graphix/21069.html) and here (http://community.livejournal.com/8ball_graphix/21287.html).
I don't remember how I got there though. :)

I don't know if the FNL community is involved. I sent a link to this post to Morgan who is involved with the auction. She may have more info.

Thanks, AM. There is actually a seperate silent auction happening on the 4th in Austin during the fundraiser! I think that's the one she's talking about here. :)

Yup. FNL hasn't been around long enough for the fans to have collected much memorabilia. ;) Whenever I do post, I'll mention the other fundraising stuff too though.

Man, I would hope there'd be at least a couple of things from the show in the silent auction, particularly considering that one of the main storylines since the pilot has been the recovery and changes for the "star quarterback" after he suffers a massive spinal injury. And they've touched on the monetary aspect in particular.
(Thankfully Joe's spinal injury sounds like it's not as bad as the one on the show, but still.)

Let me know if you do post about Joe in any FNL communities! Will you be going to the benefit on the 4th?

Will do!
I'm planning on going to the benefit, assuming nothing crazy happens. Austin's under 2 hours away from here, so it's a very doable trip, even on Sunday.

I just realized, Joe much have a thing for the initials: "_NL." First he works for BNL now he works for FNL.

Heehee!
