I think it might be time for me to start tracking down a new homepage, depending on who Yahoo ends up getting sold to. It makes me a bit sad -- I've used My Yahoo for ages now (at least since I got to university, but probably before that even). On the other hand, there are other neat homepages out there.

This is several months old, but I realized when chatting with Jerry yesterday that I never linked it in LJ. If you've seen Election, you might get a kick out of this.

I didn't know yahoo was being sold.

MS wanted to buy them, Yahoo said no, now MS is trying to take them over. But there are a bunch of other companies getting involved now too (Time-Warner/AOL, News Corp, to a lesser extent, Google). So... who knows what's going to happen.

It seems unlikely though at this point that Yahoo's going to be its own company for a whole lot longer.
